Amy Rogers creates accessories for people and their spaces, and creates works of art that speak to people and their lives.

Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Amy studied textiles and multimedia at the Kansas City Art Institute and the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. She worked in the fashion industry in New York City for ten years, then, after three years in Lyon, France, she crossed the Atlantic again and settled in Toronto.

Amy creates bold and joyful jewelry from her richly patterned ceramic beads and discs. Her artistic practice, alongside her design explorations, includes photography, drawing, embroidery, and printmaking, exploring concepts related to time and life stages. Amy's fringed vases bridge the gap between her design and artistic practices. These ceramic objects oscillate between the utilitarian and the conceptual, and they thrive on occupying this space in minds and spaces.
