This set is composed of two macaronis that fit together thanks to their respective nesting edges, as well as a sphere that gently rests on the donut forming the base. A rich sculpture, all roundness and simplicity.

Composites is Atelier Margot's most recent project and presents a formal research developed from elements taken from industrial objects. Through this work, Mireille aims to dissociate the industrial object from its function by reappropriating it and creating new three-dimensional forms. For this project, nine geometric shapes were developed, in addition to a socket system allowing the various forms to be linked together in a very precise manner. By subsequently truncating some of them, the artist multiplies the size variations of her pieces and the possible arrangement options.

Originally from Quebec City and living in Montreal for two years, Mireille Gagnon is the designer behind the Margot brand of home objects. She first earned a bachelor's degree in graphic design from Université Laval, then graduated with a degree in ceramics from the Maison des Métiers d'Art de Québec. Her experience in these two complementary fields greatly influences her vision of objects and her work, which is distinguished by its formal, precise, and minimalist character.

Interview :
- Please note that all pieces in the Composites series are sculptural and non-utilitarian . No glaze is applied to the stoneware, which means the pieces are still porous. They cannot receive any water, food, or objects that could damage the surface.
- No warranty is applicable on stains that may appear on the pieces due to improper handling. Also, all pieces are handmade, which means that slight variations may be present on the pieces.
- Parts maintenance: Remove dust using a can of compressed air or a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not clean with water. Handle parts gently with clean hands or gloves.
