This rug was handwoven in northern India before finding its way to your floor. Its tightly woven yarns make it the densest in the Mark Krebs collection, giving it a velvety feel and unparalleled softness.

The height of the tiles varies slightly, creating subtle shadows that evolve as the light changes throughout the day.

- Made to order. Delivery time 3 to 7 days.
- Composition: 80% Indian wool (weft), 20% undyed cotton (warp)
- 100% of the materials used are natural, which means that the colors and patterns of your rug will be slightly different from those of your friend, for example.

About the collection

FOSSIL is a flat weave with a velvet effect made on a hand loom, and featuring a 'double-backed' construction that makes the rug incredibly durable and flexible.
After weaving, the tile pattern is hand-carved by the weavers using a clipper (think of a much larger version of a barber's clipper).

Interview
Flat weaves are dense, durable, and strong... even the lightest ones. This means you'll be happy together for a long time, as long as you take care of each other. Here are some simple tips to help you enjoy your rug for a long time:

01. Professional dry cleaning is your best friend
02. If you spill liquid on the carpet, do not hesitate to absorb it immediately with a damp cloth.
03. Clean it regularly with a vacuum cleaner
04. If you see a loose thread, resist the urge to pull! Simply cut off the excess with sharp scissors.
05. We recommend using a rug pad that will keep it in place and prevent the weave from loosening over time.
