London artist Elena Boils' landscape series was inspired by the idea of doing my own interpretation of classic landscape paintings and the contrast between muted greens and brighter modern colours.

Born and raised in Mexico, she studied illustration at Falmouth University in Cornwall. She has worked with a number of clients with a focus on interior design and editorial design. Her style of creating colourful images is uniquely inspired by the juxtaposition of formal shapes and expressive lines, inviting a sense of tranquility into any interior.
