Bref is a gallery-boutique that has been showcasing the work of artists, designers, and emerging brands since 2016, with themes that change over the months. We are looking for a dynamic and creative person to join our small team! Your primary role will be to support and advise customers in-store as they explore and purchase items and furniture, from reception to checkout and after-sales service. Tasks - Sales/advice to customers in store; - Ensure the marketing of products in store and the visual presentation; - Process online orders as well as returns and exchanges; - Receiving orders, entering inventories and monitoring stocks; - Various tasks associated with the maintenance and proper management of the store.
Requirements - Experience working in sales; - Fluency in spoken French and English; - Have customer service at heart and a ready smile; - Autonomy, resourcefulness and reliability (the person will sometimes work alone in the store); - Have manual skills (among other things, being able to use a hammer and a drill); - Creativity and interest in the design environment; - Knowledge of Shopify POS an asset.
Our space is constantly evolving! You have to be comfortable with change and temporary chaos :) Job Details - Part-time - Schedule: Friday, Saturday and Sunday and possibility of having more hours during the weeks when the exhibitions are being set up - Summer schedule: approximately 20 hours / week (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) - Then from mid-August: between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. / week (Saturday and Sunday) - Hourly rate: $17 with benefits such as reimbursement of the monthly STM pass - Start date: early June - Boutique located at 261 Bernard O. in Mile-End, Montreal (near the Laurier and Rosemont metro stations, and several bus lines); You can send your application to hello@brefmtl.com.
