Born in Tiohtià:ke (Montreal), Béatrice Dubreuil is a graphic designer, weaver and multidisciplinary artist. Her influences are multiple and drawn from her direct environment. Nature, living things and colours regularly fuel her ideas, as do the transformation and care of materials. Natural dyeing, spinning and weaving allow Béatrice to be in close relationship with the living world while cultivating gratitude and respect for it. The wonder of the mundane shapes her creative approach and continually guides her like a child in a garden.
For the past four years, her works have been regularly exhibited at Livart as part of group exhibitions. In 2023, Béatrice Dubreuil also had the chance to participate in a residency on Île d'Orléans with artist Andy Maple, allowing her to offer a first weaving workshop.
