She creates witty and meaningful work about the human condition; as she says, "Life can be boring sometimes, and it's essential for me to break the ice on these everyday topics through art to lighten the mood. Giselle Dekel was born in Vienna, Austria, then in spent his childhood and youth, filled with beer, fries, mayonnaise and chocolate, in Antwerp, Belgium.

Giselle has always had an undeniable love for art, and at the age of 16 she began studying at the Kunsthumaniora school in Antwerp. In her early twenties, she moved to Israel where she studied text design, but her experimental nature and interest in people led her to her true passion: illustration.
