Haico grew up in the Netherlands in a very multi-cultural environment. He thus developed a sophisticated taste for spicy foods from a very young age. When Haico moved to Canada, he tried to find the same level of flavor in hot sauces and Canadian cuisine, but nothing worked. He decided to take over the world of hot sauces by growing his own peppers and designing his own sauces.

The result: a growing number of various hot and spicy sauces. All peppers and the majority of ingredients are grown in Ottawa by Haico and his wife, Angela.
