Foekje Fleur makes functional objects, offering a space for reflection. Her attractive and colorful creations seem playful at first glance, but are inspired by serious topics such as environmental pollution and animal rights.
His collection of bottle-shaped vases was inspired by plastic waste found in a river in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, which had been accumulating there since the 1960s. Creating a durable and colorful porcelain vase from the bottles found, she tries to raise awareness about this growing problem. Its soap/soap dish duo is in the same direction. They offer a solution for cleaning… but in a sustainable way.
