    Sunday October 23 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Meilleur et QuébecAmérique invites you to the launch of the new children's book 'A Sunday in the Rain' by Madeleine Allard and Agathe Bray-Bourret. A reading will be done of the album at 10:30 a.m. then the authors will be with us for a signing session.

    Born in Quebec to a Franco-Manitoban father and a Greek-British mother, Madeleine Allard is the second in a family of four girls. A Montrealer by adoption, she is in turn the mother of four children. She holds a master's degree in literature, translator, author of illustrated children's books and a collection of short stories in addition to having co-written a book on breastfeeding and collaborated on various works.

    Agathe Bray-Bourret is an illustrator, animator and director living and working in Montreal. After studying cinema at Concordia, his passion for drawing and movement made him change floors to study animation, the perfect blend of his two passions. Agathe likes to represent the fantasy and humor hidden in everyday life, especially with watercolor and gouache, her favorite mediums. She illustrates for magazines and books, she also makes installations, gifs, music videos, show credits, and her short films have been screened at festivals all over the world.
